Bugs @ Grass Valley Celtic Festival

I just got home from attending the Grass Valley Celtic Festival and I had a wonderful time. I was part of the clan League of Robin Goodfellow. The league wears costumes representing mythical creatures. We are "forest people" with a variety of characters including fairies, tree man, satyr, elves, & werebear. New Hisser Stock!

Today was the New York Metro Reptile Expo. I had a great day as always; it was a big supply-purchase day as I'm revamping 55g, 30g, and 20g vivariums. I got some great deals on cork bark, feeders, etc. but more importantly, got nine new hissers for breeding stock! I got mostly black morphs as well as some very dark hissers with lighter banding. So I only have about 10 hissers, maybe less. Only 2 of them are female. I think I am going to breed 2 of them. Both my females are black morph, so I am not sure if I want to make more blacks or see what I can come up with if I breed a black and an orange. Not sure which female either, Stumpy or my other girl. Maybe I will choose Chico or Zeus to be the daddy? Not sure. Decisions decisions.... Read More
