To satisfy a general curiosity, how did everyone discover insectgeeks?

hehe you told me about it on YouTube :p then I vanished for ages (sorry about that!) cuz I was a complete and utter mess and only when I finally got back on my feet and worked out where I was did I decide to join up

and boy am I glad I did!

If I remember right (God I'm getting old lol) I was looking on Google 4 info on a insect, 1 of the searches took me 2 a members page and I thought WOW. I joined that very same day. Now I am a proud member of both insectgeeks and reptilegeeks (never thought i'd be sooooooo proud 2 be called a geek lol)

well, i was looking to buy luna moth cocoons and it brought me here. Then i realized what a neat place i had found! I joined immeadiately

My insect collecting hobby started at the age of 4, and my first word was ant!

I started with catching bees and ants in zip-lock bags, which frightened my parents alot.....but i kept on, and never got stung nor bitten. To this day i still have my passion for insects, arachnids, and all that creep and crawl.
