Coelophora inaequalis - Variable Lady Beetle

Came across this really nice Lady beetle on one of my daily hunts near home. Actually really near home, on a bush right down at the end of the stairs. There were a good bunch there so I got pictures of a few differant stages in it's life cycle:

My son was born on May 12, 2008. My wife had been on bed rest for threes months with her first pregnancy. Finally a week before he was due she had been having active contractions 3-5 minuates apart for 3 days when they finally induced her. 1/2 an hour into active labor with the nurses having her push another nurse comes in and says the docto will not be there for 1-2 hours because of a twins emergency c-section. They told her to stoppushing!! Needless to say our son was born early that morn... Read More

My little boy :(

So my little boy came home from the hospital today. He has been sick for about a week. It started out as congestion and a little sniffle or sneaze here or there. Then turned to a temp. of 101 that went down when we gave him infant tylenol, but came right back when it wore off. So we took him to the Pediatiatrition.

New Avicularia versicolor

Just received my new A. versicolor sling today.  I ordered it from Tarantulacages.com and it looks beautiful.  I have never ordered anything live before so I'm glad everything turned out ok and my sling looks incrediably healthy.  I just love the color of versicolor slings.  This will be my first arboreal species and I'm really excited to watch my little sling grow into a gorgeous T....
