Hello Everybody,
I just wanted to invite everybody to attend a chatroom event with Yen Saw. In the last few years, Yen has revolutionized the US pet mantis hobby. He's leaving the hobby to pursue a career promotion, but has a few bug trips planned in Malaysia that might be interesting to hear about. He'll be meeting up with Michael Yeh (famous Malaysian phasmid and mantis hunter), while there.
Mostly, it's a chance for everybody who loves him to say goodbye to pretty much the best thing that has ever happened to the US hobby .
The chat is taking place at the following website on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM (midday, Central Time...Yen's in Texas).

Hope to see you all there!

I had a lot of fun putting together this photo to feature the new habitat accessories I'm offering through my site and just wanted to share a large version of the file with a bunch of fellow Insectgeeks!

Where to begin...at the beginning.
Well, maybe just read the About Us page of my website:

That's me, Peter Clausen. Before my site was called Bugs In Cyberspace it ran under a different name at a few different URL's. In January of 2002, I changed the name of my old site to Bugs In Cyberspace to reflect my expanding interests in ALL bugs!
I also work on the following websites:
http://mantidforum.Net (Mantid Forum) http://roachforum.com (Allpet Roaches Forum) http://bidabug.org Auction (Bug Auction Website to benefit the American Tarantula Society) http://wiki.bidabug.org (information database for bugs)
I am a dealer of bugs and bug products and I look forward to meeting each and every hobbyist out there!
I'm currently writing a book on the history of the pet bug hobbies, with a particular emphasis on how the internet has changed them. If anybody would be interested in contributing information, please contact me. I am doing my very best to cross-reference various bits of information and YOU might be or know the next person I am hoping to talk to! As I've discussed with Robert, I do believe that Insectgeeks is the wave of the future!
Peter
