New mantids
Posted On 04/20/2008 19:43:55

Other day when I got home from college I found a cup with two uncommon mantids in my room, my father captured them mating in the window at the lab that he works (not a insect-related lab btw, chemistry)
They are probably Phyllovates (Theoclytes) sp, and are bigger than the backyard mantids I'm used to keep, the only bad thing is that the female also flies, so its a bit hard to shot them

Anyone has guesses on the species?
